DESCRIPTION:Noe Music will broadcast Third Coast Percussion’s acclaimed recital program\, Perspectives. The concert will begin at 9:00pm CT / 7:00pm PT. \nA Third Coast Percussion performance is a one-of-a-kind event. The ensemble reinvents the classical music experience every night with music that is as inviting as it is unexpected. With repertoire ranging from living legend Philip Glass to electronic music mastermind Jlin to pop polymath Devonté Hynes (AKA Blood Orange)\, live camera projections and video art\, this is an evening of music that will thrill both first time concert-goers and contemporary music super fans alike. The program also features multimedia program notes delivered directly by the composers\, and interactive Q&A with the audience. \nPerspectives \nCLARICE ASSAD (arr. The work was co-commissioned by Elizabeth and Justus Schlichting for Segerstrom Center for the Arts\, Bravo! Vail Music Festival\, San Francisco Performances\, Town Hall Seattle\, Performance Santa Fe\, the University of Notre Dame’s DeBartolo Performing Arts Center\, and the Third Coast Percussion New Works Fund\, with additional support from Friedrich Burian\, Bruce Oltman\, MITO Settembre Musica\, The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra’s Liquid Music Series\, and the Percussive Arts Society. \nPerfectly Voiceless by Devonté Hynes was commissioned by the Charles and Joan Gross Family Foundation.
