Brooklyn Academy of Music

TCP returns to BAM in a one-night-only performance with Devonté Hynes.

For his BAM debut as classical composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and vocalist Devonté Hynes, best known for his project Blood Orange, brings his vast, genre-defying ambition to the BAM Opera House stage. He will share three experimental works: one performed by the String Orchestra of Brooklyn with pianist Adam Tendler, one performed by the Chicago-based quartet Third Coast Percussion (with whom he released the imaginative, evocative instrumental album Fields, nominated for two 2020 classical Grammy awards), and one performed by Dev himself.
