The performance is in conjunction with the exhibition Resound: Ancient Bells of China.
Members of Third Coast will also present lectures at 1pm and 4pm on Sunday, April 29, in the Smithsonian's Freer|Sackler Gallery. Ensemble members will show how Burmese, Tibetan, Japanese, Chinese, and Indian bells produce unique sounds that can be combined to create enchanting effects.
